Frames for every face
A range for women, men and children, fitted to you in the practice. Sunglasses that meet the Australian standard for UV protection.
Contact lens fitting
Daily, monthly and specialty lenses, for full-time wear or alongside your glasses for sport and social life.
Kids’ eye tests
Early detection of vision problems that can affect learning, plus durable frames and lenses made for children.
Eye conditions & urgent care
Red or sore eyes, infections, dry eye, and monitoring for glaucoma and macular degeneration with retinal imaging and visual fields.

Your history
We talk about your vision, health, medications and how you use your eyes day to day.

Vision & prescription
We measure how clearly each eye sees and work out whether glasses or a change in prescription would help.

Eye health check
We examine the front and back of each eye, including the eye pressure check used to screen for glaucoma.

Imaging & fields
Retinal photos at no extra charge, plus visual field tests where you need them, give us a record to compare at future visits.

We explain what we found in plain language and talk through your options. There is no pressure to buy.

Dr Burak Ozdemir · Optometrist
- Doctor of Optometry, University of Melbourne
- Therapeutically endorsed
Burak is a University of Melbourne trained optometrist with therapeutic endorsement, which means he can prescribe eye drops to treat eye infections, inflammation and glaucoma, and manage many eye problems without a referral elsewhere.
He took on the practice to keep a trusted local optometrist on Blackburn Road, with the time to explain your results properly at every visit.
Costs
Fees, Medicare & health funds
Bulk-billed eye tests
Eye examinations are bulk billed to Medicare for eligible card holders, so there is nothing to pay for the consultation.
All health funds
We are a preferred provider for all health funds. Your claim on glasses and contact lenses is processed on the spot through HICAPS.
Retinal photos included
Retinal photography is part of your eye test at no extra charge, so we have a detailed record of your eye health to compare at every visit.
Medicare eligibility depends on when you last had a bulk-billed eye test and your age. Call us if you’re not sure whether you’re due.
